Rivergate is situated at the "entrance of the north-east gateway" accessing the greater area of northern Tableview, via Sandown Road to the suburbs of Parklands, Parklands North, the brand-new suburb of Sandown, Sagewood Security Estate and Sunningdale to the west.

This area has been recognized as one of the Western Cape's fastest growth nodes, year after year, month after month; with exponential sales volumes being achieved in both the residential sectors, retail, commercial and industrial nodes.

The proof is in the pudding ... history has shown that this area continues to offer exceptional value for money, great returns on investment and is known as the most affordable seaboard front in the Cape .... modeled on the township developers' original premise and objective, of creating an environment based on the concept of the "live, work, play and invest place to be."

Sandown Road ... the southern carriageway was opened on 29 October 2013 and has fast become, the second, much needed east-west connector road, linking the R27 West Coast Road to the N7 national road, via Malibongwe freeway (M12), providing access to greater Cape Town CBD, the harbour and Cape Town international airport.

The good news, is that in early 2019, the township developers in the area, in conjunction with CoCT, will award the tenders to dual Sandown Road, providing a northern carriageway from the R27 to the N7.

The Sandown widening project will also see a clover leaf loop ramp providing access directly onto the N7. This will undoubtedly improve traffic flows, by alleviating the stop / start traffic interruptions caused by the current right turn signalised intersection. The projected construction period is estimated to be completed +- 15 months.

Rivergate will be served by Cape Town's "MyCiti" integrated rapid transport bus system, which future "roll out" plan will see the dedicated bus lanes being accommodated down the centre-median between the northern and southern carriageways along Sandown Road.

In years to come, the current Atlantis railway line will be upgraded to a commuter passenger line, which railway station node is anticipated to transform into a regional urban node of some considerable importance, envisaged to include the likes of local public offices; a clinic; police station; magistrates court; a hospital and municipal offices.

Retail / Commercial opportunities .... A limited number of General Business (GB1) sites, allowing prime retail / commercial opportunities, are available along the Sandown Road precinct. These sites of varying sizes offer exceptional exposure, in a great location, with good ingress-egress in the fastest growth node in the Cape.

Selling prices range from R 1,485/m2 (inclusive of VAT)

Mixed Use (MU2) light industrial land .... Currently only a handful of mixed-use light industrial erven remain available.

Phase 1 of the Rivergate Business Park is SOLD OUT.
